Immanuel Music School is offering private, personalized music lessons for students of all ages and skill levels. Founded by Eric Barlaan, a dedicated music educator with over 20 years of experience, our academy focuses on helping each student grow at their own pace — with skill, confidence, and creativity.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a Diploma in Music Synthesis from Berklee College of Music. He has taught hundreds of students, many of whom have gone on to win competitions, compose original music, and attend top music schools.

We offer lessons in piano, voice, guitar, bass, organ, violin, drums, and more. Whether you’re interested in classical, jazz, pop, or worship music, our one-on-one lessons are tailored to your interests and goals. Each session is designed to meet you where you are — whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your skills.

Lessons are held weekly at Immanuel Lutheran Church in San Jose, providing a warm and welcoming space to learn, grow, and make music with confidence.

Located in San Jose, we served students from Willow Glen, Campbell, Santa Clara, and surrounding areas. Whether you're a beginner or advanced, our private lesson help students of all ages grow musically.
